Getting ready for Bella's reading summer series.. Each summer Bella has been reading some of her favorite books. We always wait about a month into summer giving her a bit of rest before we start our reading program.. She really enjoys this part of summer.. Don't get me wrong, she still really enjoys her other activities... Well Bella here we go on.. Monday is our start date..

1 Peter 3:3-4

I love this scripture for the fact that everyday I have to remind myself its not what I put on, its how I conduct myself to those who see me.. If I put on the outside all the glitz and glam and the inside the same what does that say about who I am.. I want people to see the real me.. The Olga that is in love with Jesus, and I want the world to know who I am in Christ... So I can still put on the fine clothes but I make sure I put myself in those fine clothes..

Orange Glaze Bunt Cake~

I love the smell of fresh baked goodies of any kind in my home.. We had Bible Study tonight, thought I would make a homemade dessert instead of store bought.. Well it was a hit, and with coffee, what more can I say.. The orange cake just made the splash for this cake.. Love when I can do a special things for my Bible class..

Then it's back to my day.. Oh how I treasure those moments.. If only my cup look like this one... A girl can dream right{*.*} and that is just what I am going to do..

Today is Fathers Day.. Daddy if you ever get a chance to read this post I want you to know how much you mean to me.. You have always been there when I needed you, not ever far from me.. I can still remember we had that game when you thought I could not breathe and you would say "Can you breathe and I would say no. You would breathe into my nose and say now then I would say YES as if you brought me back to life." Daddy those are the memories I shall always cherish in my heart.. Happy Fathers Day Dad you are the greatest Dad in this world.. I honor you. I respect you. Most of all I love you.. Always and forever your little girl... Olga

GREAT SUNBURN TREATMENTS & RELIEF FOR SUN DAMAGE: Here are some simple tips that can help treat sunburn and protect the skin from sun damage…

Use sun block daily. Your sunscreen must have at least SPF 15. Cover up with shades, scarves and hats, for added protection.

Also, it would be prudent to not step out between 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., when the sun is strongest. For severe pain and burning, soak cotton napkins in cold milk and place over the affected area. It is soothing and quickly relieves the pain and discomfort.

Ground oatmeal with a little honey should be applied immediately over the sunburn area. Leave on for half an hour; then rinse with cold water. It will relieve the burning and itching successfully.
How to Relieve Sunburn: How To Reverse Sun Damage

An effective tried and tested remedy is yogurt and lime. Mix 3 spoons of yogurt with a few drops of lime. The moment you get home, apply this blend all over your body (especially, the sun exposed parts) and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse off. This therapy helps get rid of day-to-day sun damage effectively and efficiently fights of the ravages of aging.
Having one of those lazy days of summer.. Hot dogs and chips for us this afternoon. It was just one of those day that you just don't feel like cooking a whole meal, so we threw some dogs on the grill and made it a Hot dog Day!

Can't sleep so I am reading Philippians 1:1-11. I love how Paul writes being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. How we are still a work in progress..I know I still need a lot of work in my life.. So when I read this I know I'm not alone..
