Life is a gift. You didn't asked to be here, but God willed it, and He doesn't make any mistakes. You are here because He has a purpose for you. And the funny thing about God is that He can take us with all our frailties, and work beautiful
magic in our lives - IF we will let Him. For some reason, He gives us a choice in how to live our life. The best gift we can give Him and ourselves is to trust in Him, and listen for His wisdom. He speaks to us more than we know. We just have to make ourselves available to receive what He is sending.

Let's live this and every day KNOWING that God loves and values us more than we can comprehend. His wish for us is to live out the exciting, fulfilling purpose He had in mind when He gave us this incredible miracle that is called LIFE.

ELIMINATE EXCUSES~

Be determined to eliminate excuses! Don't let any restrictions, restraints, or reasons causes you to believe that you can justify not doing something or going somewhere. That one thing that you need to do in order to propel you towards the next phase in your life. "Excuses are your fears in disguise."

AUTUMN LEAVES~

Do you ever feel that when life gets to hectic, we start to feel as scattered leaves that we see in the Fall. At first the leaves have a reddish-yellow color of beauty to the them. As we look at all the awesome colors we are amazed how GOD has created a beautiful picture of colors, but the beauty fades and they become brown and dry they start to fall from the trees. The leave a clutter on the lawn. Every gust of wind brings a stream of confusion, and no matter how e try to rake, we can't brings those leaves together again. So as I have these days with homework, housework, and start my business and just feeling the busyness of the moment I keep a leaf. It is a reminder to myself of how scattered my days can be. If you feel like me, make it your prayer that your life will not remain a pile of dried up leaves roaming around with the wind. Ask GOD to bring to your life a fresh new leaf just like the beginning of Fall, holding t the strength and stability of the tree branch. So y'all don't we don't have to be overwhelm with our busy days, let GOD take the wheel, let HIM turn over a new leaf for you today. Make your busy days into happy Autumn days.

GOD gives you GIFTS~

Hold on to the gift that God has given you, hold it, plant it, water it, and it will grow into what it is suppose to be. Any time a tree grows whatever is around it will be pushed for the foundation of the roots to grow, it will have it's own room to expand.  So don't give up. Some steps will be tiny but they will get you there and they will eventually grow into bigger steps. People are always going to talk about you. They are going to throw dirt on you so that you can not succeed, that is when you just dust yourself off and go on. That's ok just let it go..Keep going forward with what gift GOD has given you. Never give up on what GOD has ordained  for you. Push forward into your destiny, with faith and prayer you will get what you want in this life.

Colossians 1:28-29~ We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all he energy, which so powerfully works in me.

We all through struggles in life. But here in the scripture Paul tells us to be strong in your struggles to overcome them with the strength you have in Jesus. It is how we go through them is what we should see, not what is going wrong. When "LIFE" happens we are so quick to blame but instead we should be seeing what happen, how this happen and learn from our problems. Thanking GOD in the mist of it all is a great way to start to overcome difficulties  Get into scripture to the core of the struggle meditate on that particular scripture, don't stop praying keep digging into it until GOD lets you see what and where the focus of your problem is and let HIM take control. GOD says I will break the yoke, then you will see what I can do.. So if you are struggling today pray about it, find scripture, meditate and give it over to GOD. Put your energy into the Word of GOD.

Sundays Best~~~

Beautiful red door church... I enjoy looking at pictures I found this one Lake Erie. The bright red reminds me of the season approaching, I say this because some of us are still in summer heat. Enjoy everyday as we come into a new season. "FALL" I love this time of year. I am just amazed at what our Creator does every year.. Like clock-work HE never fails to bring us these awesome ray of colors and weather.. God makes everything perfect. He closes out one season and brings beauty for us to enjoy in another. Every moment counts. GOD is good and we sometimes don't acknowledge HIS power. Have a wonderful day with our Creator, enjoy his beauty that HE has given us.

Honoring 9/11

Today let us not forget those who lost their lives in this tragic time in all of our lives. We were ATTACKED! All of us in one shape or form.. As for me, my husband SMSGT Rodriguez (retired USAF) was station in Saudi Arabia at the time of 9/11. I remember so clearly how on that day I went to work and saw what was unfolding like every AMERICAN on TV. It was such a beautiful day, our daughter was at home, I had talked to my husband about 3 AM had our usual conversation. Then this happen, I felt such pain in my heart for all those I could see running under that heavy smoke.. All those poor souls that jumped out of the building.. But I was going through my own tragedy, my husband.. The service called me that morning to tell me they moved my husband and his fellow soldiers to an undisclosed location. I ask if they were ok and they said when he can call you he will let you know how everything is going. For 5 days not knowing was the hardest time I could go through. Then on that 5th day I finally got the call. "I am ok." Joy to my ears and has been a joy everyday hearing his sweet voice. I thank GOD everyday for my husband and I pray for all those whose husband did not come home. So today let us come together all across the world and pray for those who lost their lives, for those who were injured that day and have not recovered since, and let us pray for those who protect us everyday. GOD BLESS the USA..

GOD's Will is Worth the Wait~

This morning my topic was: God’s Will is Worth the Wait!
“It’s in those excruciating, dark, and raw moments that we feel GOD… Maybe for the first time in our lives.

Let me ask y’all, is GOD always present in your life at those time? Do we always feel HIM in our time of need? I know as for myself I question this a couple of weeks back.  My 28 year old daughter was diagnosed with Bells Palsy. For the ones that may not know what it is. It is a form of facial paralysis resulting from a dysfunction of the facial nerve that results on the effected side. If any one who has had a love one with a stoke, knows that one side shuts down, and this is the same. It can last about 2 weeks, 2 months, or 2 years or more. When this happen I was in shock.. I thought she had a stoke.. Even then I was asking myself why did this happen to her.. God I have been faithful, I have raised my daughter in a Godly manner. Where are you God? I have always felt the presence of GOD everywhere in my life, even in that moment.. I have always felt God’s  arms wrapped around me.  When everyone was going though uncertainly. I was asking GOD for help through it all. My daughter got worse and worst.  She was in  and out of the hospital for about 4 days. I was at the point where I was praying and giving thanks to my Father more than I had ever.. This was my baby, my first born and I was not going to let the enemy get the best of me.  My husband and I prayed diligently over our daughter he reassured me at times that it was all in God’s hands. He was such an encouragement to my soul. I knew who was in charge and it was not me. It was my Heavenly Father.. I knew that, but at times when she was in pain I was in such rage, even thought I am God’s child I am still a Mom but I knew that if I started to have angry in my heart that I would be blocking the healing process.. As I read and meditated God’s words PSALM 27:14 Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD(NIV) I needed a scripture for me, I knew GOD was healing my daughter. But at that moment I needed to be right with GOD before I could start asking GOD for healing for my child. As I cleared my head of negative thoughts I could feel again the presence of GOD. I knew GOD had never left me or did her ever leave my daughter. HE assure me that through all the pain my daughter was going through, He let me know that HE would never leave us or for sake us. You need to trust me.. He whisper in my ear.  I feel that I needed GOD to show me the areas that I took for granted. Waiting on HIM for all my needs.
Well Sisters my daughter is not fully up to par yet, but we are praising GOD in the mist of the storm and as we pray each morning together for healing we know that our Heavenly Father is doing HIS work in her and me.. Some days are harder then others but at the end of the day she is still able Thank GOD for all.. We are so thankful that she is able to take care of her 2 boys. Ages 2 & 3 and they are a handful.. So everyday we pray that GOD gives her strength. As for me I asked GOD for forgiveness for doubting HIM in my time of need. Knowing that HE has blot out my sin.(ISAISH 43:25)I even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more. Thank you Jesus…GOD has a plan for us.. HE will reveal in HIS own time..
So what do we do when hope is gone? When things seem to get worse instead of better? Do we get angry with God? Or do we accept our trails knowing that GOD will make away even when it seems there is not a way! As you know for the most cases it’s hard to have hope or trust in GOD at those times it is so east to get angry, but trails will come and this is why we must keep our hope in GOD. Everyone gets hurt, everyone suffers, we all go thought our own struggles, just as I have, sometimes it is hard to press on when life seems to hurt you at that time in your life. The Bible tells us in 2 CORINTHINAS 4:6-12~ For GOD who said, “Let light shine out of darkness, give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of GOD in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from GOD and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despair; persecuted, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that this life may be revealed in our mortal body. So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.
The enemy is always on the attack and always tries to bring us down. It is the enemy who makes you feel unworthy, who brings confusion on your mind and soul and it is the enemy who is out to destroy you and your soul. We can not allow him to take way our joy in the LORD nor our hope and trust in GOD. When things are going well for you praise God and Trust GOD and thank HIM for all our Blessings, let us not only seek HIM in our darkest hour, that is what the enemy wants let us to do, continue to give HIM Thanks for all. GOD expects us to seek HIM in at all times. We must always thank HIM at all moments even in our sufferings.
PHILIPPIANS 4: 4 says, Rejoice in the LORD always: and again I say, Rejoice
PSALM 33:1 says, Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him
HABAKKUK 3:18 says, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in GOD my Savior
2 CORINTHIANS 6:10 says, For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
No matter how much you feel that life is unfair, remember that GOD is fair and just. GOD knows our needs even before we ask HIM. We must never waiver  our faith and we must always put our trust in HIM. We are to encourage one another with out judging and we are to be compassionate towards others without putting them down. We all need to be encouraging and uplifting. No one but GOD and Jesus know what you are suffering and truly going through. The best thing we can do as Sister in Christ when others are angry, hurting, bitter, upset, and losing hope is to uplift each other and comfort our fellow Sisters without, passing judgment because you never know when you’ll be on the receiving end. We are also called to pray for them, GOD who sees all and knows all will hear our prayers. Let us never give up in doing good, no matter how much life my hurt remember always GOD is there. Always
So as I close I wanted just to say as a Born-Again Christian Woman I didn’t feel the presence of GOD at that moment(seemed like a lifetime) because I was not abiding in scriptures as Jesus commanded JOHN 5:39-40(the Message)”You have your heads in your Bibles constantly, because you think you’ll find eternal life there. But you miss the forest for the trees. These scriptures are all about me! And here I am, standing right before you, and you aren’t willing receive from me the life you say you want. This hit me hard because if y’all know me from my post on FB I always have encouraging words for other but, I was not apply those words at that time pf need. I wasn’t spending enough time as I used to in the word of GOD. I start a new business. I was still doing my morning devotionals, but put all my energy to my business and not enough for GOD.. In PSALM 1:2 David delight is in the law of the LORD, and on HIS law he meditates day and night. As Jesus has put us through this trail in our lives, it had put a new wind in my spirit. Thank you LORD…and just at that slime moment I let the enemy get into my thoughts. Just that one little negative thought I gave way to. But thank you Jesus you didn’t let it take me away from you..
All in all Jesus has a time for all of us.. We just need to learn to wait on HIM. Wait on HIM for healing, wait on HIM for deliverance, and wait on HIM for our Blessings. HE wants us to know that HE is always doing a new thing in us..

A Time for Everything~

Do you ever wonder if GOD is still in control?  We do everything we are suppose to, we pray, we meditate on HIS words, we go to church, we tithe, we praise, we worship but, yet sometimes things happen. Scripture says in ECCLESIASTES 3 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under HEAVEN..
Today as we went to my husband's Dr. app Bella and I waited for him in the cafeteria. We sat down and beside me was a woman who was eating her lunch. She asked me if I go to church, I replied, yes. I guess she asked because it is second nature for  me to carry my Bible.(it was sitting on the counter) She did not say another word, so Belle and I were talking and I could see her looking at me from my side view.. So I politely ask her if she worked there. Just to start conversation. She said no that her husband was in the hospital. Right then I knew that was a time minister to her, because as soon as she said her husband she just started to cry..After we talked for awhile I started to pray for her and her husband.. 30 minutes later I gave her my phone number and told her that if she needed anything or just someone to talk to I was there for her.. And as I was leaving she called me back and said, "God always puts someone in your path, and I knew that when you sat down you were the one I should talk to.." How delighted I was that she had the feeling that I was suppose to be there for her.. I was glad that I was there for her to.. Well this evening she called to just update me on her husbands condition.. I have been praying for her that our HEAVENLY FATHER gives my sister Maria the strength that she needs for her husband..
Well as I came home I thought of the scripture in Ecclesiastes 3 how there is a time and season for everything. And as I wrote above that do we ever wonder if GOD is in control, I can rest assure that GOD is always in control. Though we may go through struggles, HE is there. Through pain, HE is there. Everything that the devil tries to put on us, GOD is there. Call out to HIM, and HE is waiting in the wings. GOD shows us that whatever we go through HE will never leave us or forsake us. (HEBREWS 13:5) GOD has to show HIS will in us, for us to see HIS love. Trust in HIM, surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life. (PSALM 23:6) This I can be sure that if and when I need my LORD his goodness and mercy are at my calling..

Today we were in full support of Chick Fil-A.. There were so many people at the one in San Antonio. We had to go to San Antonio because we don't have one in Pleasanton.. I ought to be glad we have a Mc Donald's.. Maybe I should call the company and ask them to maybe take a look over our way.. Since we really don't have much to choose from that is fast food wise.. I think in my own opinion Chick Fil-A would do great here.. My next adventure...Hummm?
So anyways we had a great time.. It was 27.00 well spent... That's my Bella.. She had lemonade and she thought it was to sour.. Giving a sour face...So after lunch we headed over to the mall.. Bella decided that she wanted her ears pierced so we headed over to Claire's.. Loving the fact that she was so brave.. I didn't get my ears pierced until I was about 13 or so.. So here is Bella on her first ear.. Ouch! Then it was over Dad and her were all smiles.. So now we are ready for school.. Well I hope everyone had a great day.. Reading James this week.. Still doing my Proverbs 31 study I have learn so much from the study, and the women in my group are such beautiful women of GOD, I could not ask for better women then the ladies I have met in this group.. So good night and may GOD keep us in his loving arms.. God Bless!

BLESSED LIFE

Life is always good when I can wake up and thank my GOD for giving me another day.. I just wondering how many truly know how good GOD is? I pray every day that those who don't know will some how find out. I pray that some one will show them just how good GOD can be. I try to show GOD through me just by saying hello or just a kind word.. I don't know really how many people I affect, but I hope everyone I encounter.. I have been blessed with a great life.. A husband that loves me unconditionally, daughters that tell me everyday how much I mean to them.. When I hear my girls say "Mom I love you" that is the best part of the day.. I have 2 grandsons that when I look into their eyes and see their smiles I know there is a GOD. Even my son-in-law..I am grateful for.. Now ladies sometime we know how hard that is when your son-in-law come and sweeps your daughter and you miss all those times that just you and her spent.. but he is a great son.. Yes I do have a blessed life... And the most important person in my life, the one absolutely person I can trust day in and day out is GOD himself and no other.. I give HIM the glory everyday for my life.. and also for the good homemade sticky buns I made this morning.. Yummy Tummy.. So who ever reads my blog today know that even if I don't know you, I still ask GOD to bless you..Have a great and glorious week ahead. Know that GOD loves you very much..
Your favor and greatest happiness is always there, you just need to download it. Your life is already programmed in the heart of GOD it is at the highest creative possibility. Everything that could happen is already programmed in GOD's favor. If our hearts are not open, we can't download the possibilities on earth as they are in HEAVEN. GOD is always waiting for your download of favor. You just  need to receive it..

I'M IN CHARGE OF MY EMOTIONS; THEY'RE NOT IN CHARGE OF ME.

New Day~

Good morning...it's a new day with new opportunities, new and fresh vision, new focus to succeed and make the most of where and what you do...I for one want to Thank God for a new day, life, and what He has blessed me with...Today is really a new day for me, my husband has started insulin (only @ bedtime) and we have all changed our daily diets.. Buying food that contain little or no sugar @ all is harder than I thought.. We have always eaten anything that we wanted, but that's why were in the place we are right?
So this morning I went shopping, what an experience.... looking @ labels, reading the continence of what is in the  package.. Mind blowing. But the good thing is that he checked his blood this morning and we had a good reading.. Drum roll.....120 thank you Jesus... Juan has always had his blood range @ 220 and higher.. So looking for the right foods did pay off.. We are going to beat this diabetes and get him off insulin.. Oh yeah by the way I and Bella have changed our eating habits too!!

Getting ready for Bella's reading summer series.. Each summer Bella has been reading some of her favorite books. We always wait about a month into summer giving her a bit of rest before we start our reading program.. She really enjoys this part of summer.. Don't get me wrong, she still really enjoys her other activities... Well Bella here we go on.. Monday is our start date..

1 Peter 3:3-4

I love this scripture for the fact that everyday I have to remind myself its not what I put on, its how I conduct myself to those who see me.. If I put on the outside all the glitz and glam and the inside the same what does that say about who I am.. I want people to see the real me.. The Olga that is in love with Jesus, and I want the world to know who I am in Christ... So I can still put on the fine clothes but I make sure I put myself in those fine clothes..

Orange Glaze Bunt Cake~

I love the smell of fresh baked goodies of any kind in my home.. We had Bible Study tonight, thought I would make a homemade dessert instead of store bought.. Well it was a hit, and with coffee, what more can I say.. The orange cake just made the splash for this cake.. Love when I can do a special things for my Bible class..

I just love this cookbook.. Country living at its BEST!! Love ya Ree (*.*)

Coffee Time

I love drinking my coffee early in the morning..Brings such an armora to my house.. When everyone is still sleeping I put on the first cup, go into my little room with my book if life ( my Bible) just read until my cup is empty...This is the part of the day that is just mine.. Then it's back to my day.. Oh how I treasure those moments.. If only my cup look like this one... A girl can dream right{*.*} and that is just what I am going to do..
(note to myself) DREAM!!!
